Turbina Olga Alexandrovna
PhD (doctoral degree in philology), professor.
O.A. Turbina graduated from Chelyabinsk State Pedagogical University. She has been working in SUSU since 1997. In 1998 O.A. Turbina founded the Chair of General Linguistics in SUSU. She is a fellow of Doctoral Dissertation Council in Ural State Pedagogical University, a fellow of the Russian Language Council (the Chelyabinsk Administration), a fellow of Academic Council in SUSU.
Olga Alexandrovna Turbina is an expert in psychomechanics of language and speech. She has written and published 54 scientific works including 2 monographs and 2 teaching aids. The focus of the research is processes of developing and functioning of syntactic structures. O.A. Turbina has described systemic and structural aspects of forming a classical French sentence, explained the nature of the simple sentence and ways of its actualization, worked out methods of analyzing syntactic structures.
Who can become an LC student?
- an undergraduate and a postgraduate having a full-time / correspondence course of study at the University/College/Institute;
- a professional having higher education or secondary specialized education irrespective of their major (proper specialization).
- anyone over the age of 16 who wants to study a foreign language.
The level of linguistic competence required when applying to LC can be from “zero” to “advanced”.
Documents required for admission:
- the applicant’s passport;
- a notarized copy of the applicant’s higher education diploma with the insert;
- three photos 3*4;
- the initial fee for ten weeks of studying.
